The base that comes with the Grande Guevara leaves is light and virtually tasteless; I tested it prior to steeping. After the base test, I added it to the bottle with the leaves and the wait began. After 3 days, I checked the liquid just see how it was progressing. The last thing I wanted to do was let it go too long and find the taste to be too strong. At 3 days, the taste was light in strength and light in flavor. Not unpleasant in any way, just not quite "there" yet.
I decided to let it go the next 2 days with the cap off after reading Paddy's review at the UK site. What a difference! The taste for me is not as "in your face" as some people have described it. This is a good thing since I though W2V London was a bit too much. The taste is CLEAN, pure tobacco. It is very much akin to the smell of a smooth cigar. The closest thing to it that I've tasted are the flavor pods from Ploom. If you're not familiar with the device, check it out. It is a true vaporizer that uses little pre-packed tins. There's almost no carrier liquid, just enough to keep it a little moist as best as I can tell. This gives a very clean and true taste.
Anyway, back to the Grande Guevara. I get a slightly nutty, dry tobacco on the inhale. The throat hit is nice (mine is 18mg) but not overwhelming. The exhale gives a more full and rounded tobacco flavor with a little sweet and a little bitter. I've started the next batch and intend on letting this one go 3 days with the cap and 3 days without to see if I can get just a little more "grunt" out of it.

All in all, I'm loving this liquid. It is unlike anything I've had before in it's clean-ness and how satisfying it is. It is not overpowering, so I could use it as an all-day-vape, which is a problem since at this time it's only sold in Jolly Old. I'll be re-ordering as soon as it's available because transit times are long.
