it is a good question that we want to answer.
the shipping weight on the order confirmation is just the estimated shipping weight. some estimated shipping weights are more than their real weights. some are less than real weight, because the real shipping weight is up to which kind of items they are and what kind of packaging they need. so it is hard to calculate the exact shipping weight before an order is packed.
