Правильно ли я понимаю, что если при затяжке не набирается температура отсечки, то надо повышать установленную мощность?
Например, температура на моде выставлена в 220 градусов, мощность 35 ватт. При затяжке температура поднимается только до 205 градусов.

Если цель достижение температуры - то да - надо повышать мощность.
